AQUA BALLET-BARRE

Using the resistance of the water to bring the ease and benefit of ballet to your body. A core strength training class design to improve posture, alignment, balance, coordination and flexibility. Low impact given in a harmonious manner and open to all levels.

AQUA BOOT CAMP

A great fun workout to kick off your new year fitness goals. Get stronger and leaner without impact on your joints with Aqua Boot Camp Training using Water Resistance, Weights and Noodles. Great core training, and total body workout for all levels.

Cardio and strength movement combinations patterned to maximize the resistance of the water.

AQUA RUN!

Join Jeff for a high intensity workout based on velocity, drag and current. This aquatic workout is perfect for for the physically active and conditioned participant. Effective and fun sequencing is designed to burn calories and make you sweat through the water sports drills and directional changes that increase resistance, shock your body into higher gear, and make you want more!

EQUI-TRISWIM

Developed by Michael Wollpert this swimming class follows the training principles for competitive athletes. This is not a beginner's class- knowledge of swimming technique necessary to participate.

HYDRO DANCE PARTY

Created by Jeff Howard, this new cardio vascular work-out is set entirely in the water. For those who love music and movement- you will be grooving from Salsa to Hip Hop and getting fit all along the way. Easy on the body and no dance experience needed. Lets get this DANCE PARTY started!

HYDRO EVOLUTION

Created by Jeff Howard, this class focuses on sculpting the body while being in the serenity of water. Using Water resistance equipment, Jeff will guide you through an full body workout experience that will get you the results you were looking for while at the same time keeping it gentle on the joints and muscles.

HYDRO YOGA

Created by Jeff Howard. This class is designed to connect the mind to the body using traditional mind body practices from classic yoga, Pilates and tia chi all in the water. Using these practices to tone and sculpt. This is a gift you give yourself: relax and breathe.

MAKING WAVES

A combination of cardiovascular and muscle conditioning drills using water resistance.

MASTER SWIM

Taught by a certified swim coach to get the most effective workout while improving stoke volume.

OCEAN SWIM CLUB

Meet once a week for an ocean swim. Swimmers should already be able to swim 400 yards (40 laps in our pool) with a few breaks. Designed to help prepare you for the upcoming triathlon season and increase distance. Bring wetsuit, goggles and bright colored swim cap.

POOL PILATES

Pilates in the pool! Strengthen and lengthen the entire body in the water while staying cool! This fun, invigorating approach to pilates is for all ages and perfect for rehabilitation.

SB TRI

The pool is reserved for members who are signed-up for the Equinox Triathlon Training program. Join coach Alfredo Muir for a 16 week program with the goal of competing in the Santa Barbara Triathlon August 25/26th.

SPLASH!

Dive into this low impact cardio & conditioning class that incorporates the latest & wettest aqua based exercises into a joint friendly, high energy water workout.

SURF & TURF

Aquatic boot camp consisting of in-pool cardio drills and challenging stationary and locomotive exercises enhance abdominal stability, increase aerobic endurance, and tone muscles. Serious kick-butt moves on the deck, including push ups, lunges, and core work. Bring a bathing suit, sunscreen, and towel. Swimming skills not required, sweat guaranteed!

SWIM BASICS

Master the basic swim strokes and techniques you need to learn to swim. The perfect class for a beginnning swimmer or those wishing to improve thier skills.

SWIM BETTER

Take your swimming skills and strokes to the next level.

SWIM CLUB

Focus on drills and form as you develop an efficient swim stroke. Training for a triathlon? Want to improve your form? Swimming for fitness? This class is for you! Emphasis is on the freestyle stroke. Participants must be able to swim 100 yards freestyle non-stop. Pool closed during class.

SWIM TEAM

This class is synonymous with training sessions that high caliber swimmers experience. Emphasis on drills, techniques, stamina & strength. Pool CLOSED during class. Requires ability to swim 100 yard freestyle for the entire hour: BEG:2:15/INT:1:55/ADV:1:30.

SWIM TRAINING

Learn how to swim. All the basic swim strokes taught to all levels.

TERRIER TRI SWIM TEAM ADVANCED

Triathlon specific swim team class periodized to build endurance and speed to prepare your body for the summer race season. Must be able to swim a sub 30 minute olympic distance time. Pool is reserved and open only to class participants.

TERRIER TRI SWIMMING

Taught in a swim team format, focus is on drill work to develop economy and efficiency of your stroke. Perfect for novice swimmers and triathletes. Pool is reserved and open to class participants only.
