YOGA AT EQUINOX

Your body has a language all its own. That's why we offer many types
of yoga ranging from traditional classes to signature styles and experiences. Pick one that speaks to you, and our award-winning instructors will integrate body, mind and spirit at the right pace for you.

30/30

30 minutes of moving meditation and 30 minutes of seated meditation with elements of Qi Gong, Tai Chi and Yoga for the optimum balancing from the inside out. Join us for class outside the café near the pool--no class on rainy days.

ALIGNMENT YOGA

Alignment Yoga emphasizes precision and purity of form. Based on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar, this practice enhances flexibility and alignment.

ANUSARA STYLE YOGA

A flowing introduction inspired by the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment and balanced energetic action with vinyasa sequences linked to the breath.

ANUSARA YOGA

Founded by John Friend, this style integrates the celebration of the heart, principles of alignment, and balanced energetic action. By "following your heart" each student's abilities & limitations are explored, respected & honored.

ANUSARA YOGA FLOW

Integrate the celebration of the heart, principles of alignment, and balanced energetic action with flowing sequences linked to the breath. A more vigorous approach to Anusara yoga techniques combined with the gentleness of holding poses.

ASHTANGA IMPROV

Journey into the physical, dynamic and athletic characteristics of Ashtanga. Poses from the Primary and Intermediate Series are fused into a newly created sequence each week. You will leave flexible, stronger and more balanced after this engaging and energetic yoga practice.

ASHTANGA YOGA

Developed by K. Pattabhi Jois, a vigorous style of specific asanas (postures) is sequenced to emphasize breath, strength, flexibility & endurance.

ASHTANGA/IYENGAR FLOW

Experience a synthesis of the alignment principles of Iyengar Yoga and the rhythmic breath power of Ashtanga Yoga. Posture sequences that develop core strength and alignment, and skeletal integrity, while integrating breath and meditation for both a healthy mind, and body.

ATHLETIC YOGA

A yoga class is designed to meet the needs of the athlete. The focus is on stretching and strengthening with the intention of improving performance, whatever your sport. An intense vinyasa yoga practice focusing on strength, endurance & form. Challenging for all levels this workout is truly meditation in motion.

ATOMIC YOGA

This class involves an integration of various sun salutations, asana, pranayama, dharana and dhyana to promote a fun and safe yoga practice. You never know what to expect so be prepared to work, laugh and leave invigorated!

AYURVEDIC YOGA

Transform your daily routines to promote longevity and support a more harmonious quality of life. Ayurveda, the world's most time tested system of health, utilizes asanas as one of the vehicles to facilitate the "Inner Journey of Healing” for the seasoned yoga practitioner and novice alike!
